Herst & Associates, Inc. is the primary consultant for performance of a Remedial Investigation / Feasibility Study (RI/FS). Herst & Associates, Inc. activities have included oversight during the installation of monitoring wells, environmental sample collection including groundwater, surface water, sediments, soils, air, and leachate, and detailed evaluation of results, with particular attention on spatial and temporal geochemical changes to identify source(s) and migration rates as they affect potential remedial options. Herst & Associates, Inc. has previously implemented an innovative phytoremediation system that was demonstrated to successfully reduce groundwater contaminant concentrations.
