Herst & Associates, Inc. has developed internet-accessible data systems that allow immediate availability of environmental data to our clients. Client environmental professionals have 24-hour a day access to data from multiple sites, and can access the information during meetings, during report reviews, and for general site knowledge. To date, Herst & Associates, Inc. has digitally scanned over 3.5 million pages of documents and transformed them into electronic format to facilitate data retrieval.

The web-based system available to our clients is based on a system that we designed and implemented internally to track our projects. Our intranet system, available to all employees whether in the office or in the field, provides access to site permits, environmental data, environmental sampling schedules, project status, regulatory contacts, etc. The intranet system is an invaluable tool not only to our employees, but also to our clients who often call requesting the status of sampling, expected receipt of subcontracted laboratory results, etc. All of our employees are able to provide immediate response to our clients, which increases their efficiency and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
